What strikes me is the jaw that won’t loosen. We talk so much about letting go as if it’s a choice the mind can simply make. But the body holds on long after we’ve decided to release.
I love this reflection. It reminds me of how we typically don’t realise we are in a stressed state until we finally slow down. We are completely unaware of what our bodies carry at times. Thank you so much for reading and sharing!
This is such a beautiful, grounding piece. The idea that resilience can sometimes become self-betrayal is a powerful reminder that we're allowed to outgrow the lives we once fought for. Shifting the question to "who do I get to be now?" feels like a huge, necessary exhale. Thank you for these urgent, gentle truths.
Thank you so incredibly much for reading and reflecting on this piece. I’m so glad you’ve found meaning in that truth, it’s definitely one that snuck up on me in recent months. 🤍
There are so many ways to say ‘I’m letting go,’ or “I’m moving on,” but really, only one way to Actually follow through. Loved this piece Amber. It’s still hitting me in waves as I take in the work like waves!
Thank you so much. This one altered my brain chemistry hehe there's this feeling that I have of being quite stuck no matter what I do and I really appreciate stumbling across this one because it somehow gives the answers to my long lost homework; understanding myself. I've been quite controlling, anxious and lost but then I know now the importance of being patient with one's self.
Thank you so much reading, I’m so glad you found it. I’m sorry to hear that, I promise in time, you’ll slowly shed all of the layers that are holding you back from finding peace in yourself. I too, have been there. There is so much love in the world, and so much love within you, I hope you feel some of it for yourself. 🤍
